Recycling with Blue Sky Opportunities

Blue Sky Opportunities provides curbside recycling pick-up service for the town of Altona, and the village of Rosenfeld, as well as regular pickups at recycling depots in some surrounding communities.

Waste Collection

The Town of Altona has a three-stream Waste Collection program that runs year-round. This program is intended to encourage waste diversion and supports Altona’s commitment towards responsible environmental stewardship.

Compost is picked up weekly in the summer months & reduced to monthly during winter.
